A secluded guesthouse in a fantastic location with 4 twin/double rooms, each with its own bathroom and shower, two rooms have a private exit to a terrace. A large fully equipped kitchen and lounge are shared. Fantastic lake and mountain views can be enjoyed from the shared terrace with a grill.

We are a family co-op offering accommodation in this quiet and peaceful area right next to all of Mývatn's main tourist attractions. A family member is always on-site to receive guests, provide services and to advise on activities in the surrounding area.

Situated in a lava field right next to Dimmuborgir, Hverfjall, Lake Mývatn, Grjótagjá, Höfði and many other landmark sites. Close by are the natural phenomenons of Námaskarð, Geothermal Baths or Krafla. Detailed information on local services and activities are available on-site.

The Master-Chef style kitchen can be used to prepare meals at any time of the day and each guest has their own refrigerator space. A make-your-own style basic breakfast is included, with bread, eggs, cheese, jams, butter, yoghurt, cereals, and more. Gourmet espresso coffee facilities are provided.

Extra bed can be added for children 3-18 years old for 40 EUR per night.
The city tax 666 ISK per night per room is included in our prices.

Cancellation policy for standard rate:
Free cancellation is up to 14 days before the arrival date. Modifications of dates are allowed for all reservations, subject only to availability.
If you cancel or modify your booking less than 14 days before the arrival date, the hotel will charge 100% of the total amount of the reservation.

If you cancel for any reason, attempt to modify your reservation, or do not arrive on your specified check-in date, your payment is non-refundable. 
The payment is non-refundable even in case of early departure.
Due to global uncertainties, pandemics, conflicts and travel restrictions, they are also exchangable for a voucher.
